Taking the Leap through Faith: Catching Up!!

Man, in the past couple of months I feel like I have been put through the ringer. I have a friend by the name of Emily. Emily is currently in the Dominican Republic on a mission trip helping with a church build. She is the one on the right in the green hat. Anyway, I thank her for her support through the past couple of months. I had some situations going on at my mom's house with my siblings that just broke my spirit and I decided to move in with my boyfriend. I also befriended someone that was on staff at my church and told her that I decided to move in with my boyfriend. Well I was also very involved there too. I was a small group leader for the 1st grade kids, Assimilator for Group Link, and was also well on my way in collecting donations for my mission trip. This "friend" I confided in took the information that I shared as a friend to the church level and everything was swooped in one false swoop. So, now I am pretty much back to a seat filler on Sunday morning. I was offered the oppurtunity to be a door greeter on Sunday with the kids ...(check in person). Not sure if that was a slap in the face or not??? Anyway, I still have my small group of the greatest group of laides a girl could ask for. Love them. They have been a great strength for me to continue on spiritually. LOTS of prayers. I am getting excited because Labor Day Weekend we are going on a trip to Disney!!! This is going to be a FUN FUN weekend. I can't wait. We reserved a hotel room for the weekend in Downtown Disney. If you know me thn you know that I LOVE DISNEY!!! It has to be the best place to feel and act like a kid and get away with it!!! I will definetly have to post up pictures about that ... anyway, back to the story... the past couple of months.. the church says that I am going through a "season".. and I should just take some time. So, that is what I am doing. I think that I am also going to be looking for some peeps to hang out with. In Florida I had all my friends that I grew up with and went to school with. Here in Georgia there isn't really anyone to chill with that much, but then again I haven't really tried.. I have been caught up in work, family, and Peter. I need to venture out I think. .. I will let you know how that goes..if at all. I want to go sky diving for my birthday.. random thought.. ok gotta get back to work. Talk to you soon :)
